ASA is the first association of skippers in Croatia, the Mediterranean country that has a long naval tradition and that has produced a great number of acknowledged professional seafarers throughout the centuries.

Based on this tradition, ASA was founded in 2001., by a handful of professionals with a goal to group the finest skippers on the Adriatic and to provide them with a logistic and organizational support in order to raise the overall quality of nautical service on the Adriatic.

We believe that this will empower the ASA skippers to gain even more knowledge and experience, and that through a constant quality management of our service we will be able to build a recognized cluster of professional skippersand mates on the Mediterranean.

We group our skippers into 2 sections:

- charter skippers – whose language speaking and guest animating qualities precede the professional skills (those skills are, naturally, not neglected)
- delivery skippers and mates – who are becoming the members of the ASA delivery team based on their professional skills and naval experience

At the moment, the ASA delivery team consists of 20 highly experienced Skippers and their crews who regularly transit European waters, the Mediterranean, Atlantic and Indian ocean.
