The aim of the Academy is to rise the level of skill in crew working on motor yachts.
In order to achieve that the Academy focuses both on experienced crew as well as people who are new in the field.

The most common problem in the industry is lack versatility and range of practical skill amongst crew. The clients (owners) wish to employ crew that is loyal, efficient and capable of ensuring safe voyage and careless and event full holiday.
To make sure the crew can deliver, MennYacht Crew Academy sets new standards in education and skill enhancement . The wide range of choices, between courses, ensure that each can find what he or she is looking for or what he or she is lacking.
The two base programs are Skipper and Stewardess training.

The pilot course of skipper training program was conducted to test the venue, all lecturers and organizational skills of program coordinators. The course consisted of practical lessons in catering, navigation, boat upkeep, cooking, table manners, on-board mechanics and lectures in etiquette and crisis management.
The program ran smoothly through all phases with no setbacks. All lecturers and other staff conducted their assignments promptly and with high efficiency so all candidates learned a great deal. Each candidate received a certificate of attendance and completion that serves as a verifiable document. Each future employer of an individual with this certificate can confirm authenticity by contacting MennYacht Crew Academy.

The first courses are scheduled for the beginning of January 2008.
